膳食纤维主要通过改变胃肠道内容物性质以及其他营养、化学物质的吸收方式;经肠道微生物发酵产生SAFCs调节肠道微生物的组成和比例,从而发挥预防糖尿病、降低血糖血压、控制体质量、提高免疫力、降低炎性因子表达水平和患心脑血管疾病等机体健康效应作用。但膳食纤维、肠道微生物与机体健康的关系错综复杂,随着对研究的不断深入,明确膳食纤维的来源、加工方法和组成成分如何影响肠道微生物群;研发适宜的膳食纤维改性技术,获得理想的膳食纤维组成;创造与体内更为相似的体外试验条件,清晰阐明膳食纤维调节机体健康的作用机制,这可为预防和治疗代谢性疾病提供新的思路。总体来说,膳食纤维作为一类人体必需的营养物质,具备良好的健康功能作用,具有广阔的应用前景。
